While known to Buffalo Natives and Travelers alike as Lafayette Square, our label pays homage to the square’s designer, Joseph Ellicott. The city’s design included three such squares, however, in 1920, the square was reshaped to become a circle around the still standing Soldiers and Sailors Monument surrounded by sidewalks and grass.
